By volunteering for this opportunity, you are helping community members receive the food assistance they need in an efficient and respectful manner. 

Key responsibilities:

Restock, sort, and organize food onto shelvesMaintain a clean and organized pantry environment by sweeping, mopping, and taking out the garbage and recycling as neededEnsure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

Have a friendly and approachable mannerAbility to stand for extended periods of timeBe sensitive to and be respectful of diverse populationsMaintain confidentiality about who is present in the food pantry at any timeAbility to work well both in a team and independently

Please register beforehand and make sure to sign in on the laptop when you arrive. Closed toe shoes are required.

Park near the east Von Maur entrance, next to the bus stop. Our pantry is located directly inside the mall entrance
